The '''American Institute of Bisexuality''', Inc. (AIB) is a [[Charitable organization|charity]] founded by [[Fritz Klein]] to promote research and education about [[bisexuality]]. It is also known as the Bisexual Foundation. AIB is a [[California]] nonprofit corporation qualified for tax purposes as a public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code.
The Mission Statement for AIB states: "AIB encourages, supports and assists research and education about bisexuality, through programs likely to make a material difference and enhance public knowledge and awareness."
Historically, AIB has provided financial support in the form of loans or grants to: organizers of periodic conferences on bisexual issues; the website at bisexual.org; the ''[[Journal of Bisexuality]]''; and grants to individual academic researchers.
