'''''Before the Dawn Heals Us''''' is an album by the [[France|French]] [[electronica]] group, [[M83 (band)|M83]]. It is their third major album. It was released in the [[United States]] on [[25 January]] [[2005]] to positive reviews. The album features 15 cuts of earthy electronica interspersed with guitars, acoustic drums and some vocals. The album was released on the [[Gooom]] label in Europe and on the [[Mute Records|Mute]] label in the U.S.
The track "Teen Angst" featured in trailers to the 2006 film ''[[A Scanner Darkly (film)|A Scanner Darkly]]''. In addition, this album was chosen as one of [[Amazon.com]]'s Top 100 Editor's Picks of 2005.
The first track in the album, Moonchild, was used in an episode of the hit British motoring show [[Top Gear]]. It was played as [[Jeremy Clarkson]] was crossing the [[Oresund Bridge]] between [[Denmark]] and [[Sweden]] as he was driving from [[London]] to [[Oslo]] in a [[Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren]].
The track "Lower Your Eyelids to Die with the Sun" was used in the [[Lakai]] skateboarding video ''[[Fully Flared]]'' during the intro. The music plays over various skateboarding sequences while props used by the skaters explode, in time to the music.
The track "In the Cold I'm Standing" has been used throughout the [[Globe Shoes]] videos ''United By Fate'', during the interludes
In May 2007, the track "Fields, Shorelines and Hunters" was performed live by [[Greece|Greek]] band [[Kore. Ydro.]] in their shows with the translated title: "Χωράφια, Ακτογραμμές και Κυνηγοί".
The track "*" was used in "MASH", a fixed gear bicycle documentary set in San Francisco.
