However, Hundert announced on the evening of March 15, 2006, that he would resign as president of the University effective [[June 1]], 2006, when he was succeeded by Gregory Eastwood. Dr. Hundert received $1.5 million in compensation for one remaining year left in his contract and his optional sabbatical after he tendered his resignation. ==External links== *[http://medethics.med.harvard.edu/people/hundert/ Hundert's Harvard webpage] *Book: [http://www.amazon.com/dp/0198248962 Philosophy, Psychiatry and Neuroscience: Three Approaches to the Mind] *Book: [http://www.amazon.com/dp/0674525418 Lessons from an Optical Illusion: On Nature and Nurture, Knowledge and Values] *[http://wiki.case.edu/Edward_M._Hundert Case Wiki entry] <!-- this link doesn't appear to be working - just ads, no article ?? *[http://www.cleveland.com/news/plaindealer/index.ssf?/base/cuyahoga/1140687807322340.xml&coll=2&thispage=1 No-confidence vote] --> <!-- link no longer valid *[http://blog.case.edu/casepoint/ Resignation Letter] --> <!-- link no longer valid *[http://blog.case.edu/casepoint/ Replacement Announcement] --> [[Category:Case Western Reserve University|Hundert, Edward M.]] [[Category:American university and college presidents|Hundert, Edward M.]] [[Category:Yale University alumni|Hundert, Edward]] [[Category:Harvard Medical School alumni|Hundert, Edward]]
