Geva was founded in [[1922]] by [[Jewish]] immigrants from [[Poland]] and [[Russia]] in what is known in Israel as the [[Second Aliyah|second]] and [[Third Aliyah|third]] wave of immigration. As of 1995 it had a population of 547.
