She has played [[Tracy Quartermaine]] on two TV series: ''[[General Hospital]]'' (1978-1980, 1989-1993, 1996, 2003-present) and ''[[The City (TV series)|The City]]'' (1996-1997), and also won several awards including a [[Daytime Emmy]] in 1981 for Best Supporting Actress.
Her career has also extended beyond [[television]] appearances to include dramatic roles for [[film]] and [[Broadway theatre|Broadway]], television [[film production|production]] credits, and numerous commercial [[voiceover]]s.
