April 12, 1974 in Tennessee), was a founding member of the rock band, Superdrag. Davis' primary roles in the band were that of songwriter, singer and lead guitarist. By the time Superdrag was beginning work on their fourth full-length record, Davis was an alcoholic. One night as Davis was driving, he felt the presence of God. Davis gave up alcohol at that moment, and turned his life to Christianity. This inspired the metaphoric title of Superdrag's fourth album, Last Call For Vitriol. On March 8, 2005, Davis released his first solo album, playing all instruments on the record, with the exception of some bowed strings and percussion. The self-titled record, John Davis is a combination of his signature pop melodies and a devout faith in God. In March 2006, John put alternate versions of the songs from his album on his website. Davis has finished recording his second solo album titled Arigato!, which was released October 2, 2007, at shows and by pre-order. He is also currently a member of the Christian rock band My Red Hot Nightmare, where he is a guitarist, backing vocalist, and second string drummer. ==Live Band== ===Current Members=== Ethan Luck - Guitar/Bass
Josiah Holland - Bass
Joey Sanchez - Drums
==Discography== ===John Davis=== * John Davis, 2005 (Rambler) * Arigato!, 2007 (Bug Music) ===Superdrag=== ====Albums==== *Regretfully Yours (1996) *Head Trip In Every Key (1998) *In The Valley Of Dying Stars (2000) *Last Call For Vitriol (2002) *Changing Tires On The Road To Ruin (2007) ====EP's==== *The Fabulous 8-Track Sound of Superdrag (1995) *Stereo "360 Sound" (1998) *Senorita (1999) *The Rock Soldier EP (2000) *Greetings from Tennessee (2001) *The Anniversary / Superdrag Split EP (2001) ===The Used To Be=== *Shameless Self-Destruction (2002) ===Astronaut Pushers=== *Astronaut Pushers EP ==Studio Work== *MXPX, Secret Weapon Organ and BGV's on "Sad Sad Song" (2007) *Ruth, Secondhand Dreaming Pedal Steel and BGV's on "From Here To New York" (2007) *Fair, The Best Worst Case Scenario Pedal Steel and BGV's on "Get You Out Alive" (2006) *The OC Supertones, Revenge Of The Supertones BGV's, B3 Organ, Piano and Guitar Solo on "Transmission" (2004) *30 Amp Fuse, Wind-up (bass, lead guitar, vocals) (Darla Records, 1995) *30 Amp Fuse, Saturday Night At The Atomic Speedway (lead guitar on "I Fall Down") (Dedicated, 1997) *Ghoti Hook, Two Years To Never (piano, organ, Mellotron) (Tooth & Nail Records, 2000) *Scott Miller & The Commonwealth, Thus Always To Tyrants (bass, electric guitar, acoustic guitar & vocals on "Absolution" and "Goddamn The Sun") (Sugar Hill Records, 2001) *The Faults, S/T (vocals on "Let The Angel Lie", "Big Show", "Lonely Place" and "Poison Land"; electric guitar and piano on "Poison Land.") *Allison Moorer, The Duel (Sugar Hill Records, 2004) (bass, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, pedal steel, piano, organ, vocals.)
