[[February 23]], [[1948]], Cannondale) is the creator of the eponymous [[shorthand]] system [[Gregg Shorthand]]. == Biography == Gregg introduced his shorthand system in [[1888]] in a brochure entitled ''Light-Line Phonography'' which he published at [[Liverpool]] in [[England]]. In [[1893]], he emigrated to the United States, where he published in the same year ''Gregg Shorthand''.
