'''Josiah Bartlett, Jr.''' ([[August 29]], [[1768]] - [[April 16]], [[1838]]) was the son of [[Josiah Bartlett]] and a [[Democratic-Republican]] member of the [[United States House of Representatives]] from the state of [[New Hampshire]].
Josiah was born to Josiah and Mary Bartlett in [[Kingston, New Hampshire|Kingston]]. He followed his father as both a physician and political leader. After graduating from [[Phillips Exeter Academy|Exeter Academy]] he studied medicine and started a practice in [[Stratham, New Hampshire|Stratham]]. He served in the [[New Hampshire General Court|State Senate]] from [[1809]] to [[1810]] and served as a Democratic-Republican in the [[United States House of Representatives]] from [[March 4]], [[1811]] to [[March 3]], [[1813]].
Following his Congressional service, Bartlett resumed the practice of medicine and was elected (again) to the [[New Hampshire State Senate|State Senate]]. He served as a [[U.S. Electoral College|Presidential Elector]] in the [[U.S. presidential election, 1824|1824 election]], supporting [[John Quincy Adams]].
Bartlett continued the practice of medicine and died in Stratham in [[1838]].
