She was a daughter of the [[John Manners, 5th Duke of Rutland|5th Duke of Rutland]] and on [[17 February]] [[1831]], she married Hon. [[Charles Stuart-Wortley-Mackenzie]], a son of the [[James Stuart-Wortley-Mackenzie, 1st Baron Wharncliffe|1st Baron Wharncliffe]].
After the death of her husband in 1844, she led a peripatetic life.
