The enrollment of 3,300 students includes undgraduates, master's candidates, and Ph.D. candidates. The college was started in [[1906]] when the Board of Regents created the College of Commerce. In [[2001]], the college was named for [[Michael Leeds]] of New York, who committed $35 million to the school. The Ph.D. entrepreneurship program ranks first in the nation. The undergraduate program ranks 39th in the country and the undergraduate entrepreneurship program ranks 14th in the nation. The MBA program ranks 26th among all public universities. The four year degree requires a combination of Arts and Sciences core classes, a set of Business Core classes, concentration specific classes, and upper division business electives.
