This article gives an overview of '''liberalism in the Republic of Moldova'''. It is limited to [[liberalism|liberal]] [[political party|parties]] with substantial support, mainly proved by having had a representation in parliament. The sign ⇒ means a reference to another party in that scheme. For inclusion in this scheme it isn't necessary so that parties labeled themselves as a liberal party.

Between 1918 and 1940 and between 1941 and 1944. what is now the [[Republic of Moldova]] was part of [[Romania]], so the Romanian political parties were active in Moldova. After the independence liberal parties were founded in Moldova, but they were very divided. Nowadays two liberal parties are active: the social liberal [[Party Alliance Our Moldova]] (''Partidul Alianţa «Moldova Noastră»''), a merger of liberal and social democrat forces and the market liberal [[Social Liberal Party (Moldova)|Social Liberal Party]] (Partidul Social-Liberal).
