'''Lisa McCormick''' is an American [[folk music|folk]] [[singer/songwriter]]. She was named "Artist of the Year" by [[Maine Public Radio]] after the release of her [[1996]] debut album, ''Right Now''. Performing Songwriter magazine chose her song ''Gravitate'', from that album, for their "Best of the Year" CD. She followed that album with an [[Extended play|EP]], ''Seven Solos'', and her third album, ''Sacred'', was produced by [[John Platania]] (known for playing guitar on albums by [[Van Morrison]]).
She has opened for such artists as [[Cheryl Wheeler]], [[Ani DiFranco]], [[Tom Rush]] and [[Jonathan Edwards (musician)|Jonathan Edwards]].
