List of New Mexico highways 1912267 225117250 2008-07-11T23:28:22Z Negativity13 7407878 ==Numbered routes== New Mexico state highways underwent extensive re-numbering during the 1980s, when many longer highways were broken up into shorter segments each with their own state highway numbers. The result was a proliferation of numbered state highways, most of the newer ones having three-digit numbers. Many state highways are very short (some less than a mile long) and serve to connect [[Interstate highway]]s with local streets and roads. {| class="wikitable" |- !Route !Length !Counties !Description
