They released their first album, Perfect Self, on Columbia Records in 2001 and a video for the song "Pain" received airplay on MTV2. After extensive touring in support of that album, they went back into the studio, releasing Every Given Moment in April of 2003. After participating in the Jagermeister Music Tour with (hed) P.E., Breaking Benjamin, Systematic, and Saliva, Columbia Records cut their touring support, and dropped the band. Due to this, and an impending Life of Agony reunion, Stereomud went their separate ways in July of 2003, a mere 3 months after the release of Every Given Moment. They have performed a few select reunion shows since this, but for the most part, the band remains dormant to this day. ==Band members== *Erik Rogers - vocalist (currently of Love Said No) *Corey Lowery - bassist (previously of Stuck Mojo and Switched, currently in Dark New Day) *Dan Richardson - drummer (previously of Crumbsuckers and Pro-Pain and Life of Agony) *John Fattoruso - guitarist *Joey Zampella - guitarist (previously of Life of Agony) ==Discography== *Perfect Self (2001) *Every Given Moment (2003) ==Trivia== *"Pain" is frequently used as intro music on the Nova-M Radio network program The Randi Rhodes Show. *Several songs from their first album have been used as bumper music on the Glenn Beck Program, beginning as early as 2002. *They contributed the song "End of Everything" to WWE for the WWE Forceable Entry album.
