Its members are four stay-at-home moms from [[Detroit, Michigan|Detroit]]. The band was formed in [[2003]] by Detroit music veteran Paula Messner, formerly of the Motor Dolls and the Vertical Pillows. The band plays hard rocking versions of [[nursery rhyme]]s, [[movie theme]]s and other children's favorites. Their first album, ''[[Candy Band]]'', was released in [[2003]] (see [[2003 in music]]).
