'''''The Pain -- When Will It End?''''' is a cartoon drawn by Tim Kreider ([[February 25]],[[1967]]-), since [[1995]]. It is published both in the [[Baltimore City Paper]], and online as a [[webcomic]] (since [[2000]]). Most of Kreider's comics have had a left-wing political theme in recent years, often depicting American politics and politicians through a satiric, harsh lens, and have been collected in book form as ''The Pain - When Will It End?'' (May 2004) and ''Why Do They Kill Me?'' (May 2005). A limited edition collection of his political cartoons, ''Fuck Them All'', was published in September 2004.
James K. Fisher has drawn Kreider's cartoon for the week of his birthday since 1998.
Kreider received coverage in the media in 2006 for his defense of [[Pluto]] as a planet before and after its demotion to [[planetoid]]. <ref>[http://www.nytimes.com/2006/08/23/opinion/23kreider.html?ex=1313985600&en=8975203e9ab43806&ei=5088&partner=rssnyt&emc=rss I ♥ Pluto] by Tim Kreider, New York Times, Op-ed Published: August 23, 2006</ref>
