The '''Volme''' is a river in [[North Rhine-Westphalia]], [[Germany]], left tributary of the [[Ruhr]]. It is 49,8 km long, of which 21,3 km within the city limits of [[Hagen]].
It begins at 480 m above sea level at the southeastern part of the Ruhr area and flows through the municipalities of [[Meinerzhagen]] and [[Hagen]] and ends at 91 m above sea level emptying into the Ruhr. In the city of Hagen, the Volme is predominantly canalized, and is being renovated since [[2004]].
